I've always called myself a Patriotic Peep. It's not just something I say—it's who I am… and what this brand is all about.
Lately, it feels like patriotism and politics are getting lumped together—but they're not the same thing. And honestly, understanding that matters more than ever.
Patriotism is simple.
It's love for your country.
It's believing in what America stands for—freedom, opportunity, and the ability to build a life of your own. It shows up in everyday ways… supporting our military, respecting the flag, helping your neighbor, or just being proud to call this place home.
Patriotism isn't about a party.
It's about people.
Politics, on the other hand, is where things can get complicated.
It's policies, leadership, decisions—and yes, a lot of opinions. It's where debates happen, and not everyone agrees. That's part of it.
But here's where we've gotten off track…
Being patriotic doesn't mean you have to agree on everything politically.
And it definitely doesn't mean choosing sides against each other.
Real patriotism is bigger than that.
It's about wanting the best for this country—and the people in it—even when we see things differently. It's about respect. It's about unity where we can find it. And it's about remembering that we're all part of the same bigger picture.
Because if we're being honest…
we've seen what unity looks like before.
We saw it on 9/12—when nothing else mattered except showing up for each other. No sides. No labels. Just people, standing together for the greater good.
That's the spirit worth getting back to.
When we lead with patriotism instead of partisanship, something shifts.
We're stronger. More connected. More grounded in what actually matters.
