About Us

I’m not Military, I’ve never served, my husband never served, no one in my immediate family has ever served. I’m a Patriotic Peep! I’m glad I live in America and I like showing my pride in the Red, White and Blue!

This business started as a passion project but became my full-time gig from a Covid Pivot. I used to design and sell light up novelty items for theme parks. I had a lot of bright ideas. When the world went crazy and the theme parks closed it dawned on me that OH Yeah...I no longer have an income! Thus, my passion project became full-time I couldn’t be happier. I’m a believer and God sure knew what he was doing in redirecting my career path.

I design and sell, I don’t sew 😊 and can’t sew on a button. I leave the hard work to the professionals and I load up a van and meet you at the shows, festivals and events. I like that and I love getting to know and meet my customers up close and personal. You make me smile, sometimes you make me cry with the stories you share; but most of the time you just make me proud that I can provide something to you that has meaning.

When I started this venture, I knew I wanted to give back. There are so many worthy charities, it took me a minute, but I did my research and found the Gary Sinise Foundation. It was perfect! If you’ve seen me on the road, you may have heard my little story that he (Gary Sinise) is my boyfriend…And that is totally fictional!! I did fall in love with him though in my all-time favorite move Forrest Gump, as Lt. Dan. When I looked for charities and learned he created the GSF because of his role in Forrest Gump and he’s dedicated his life to our Veterans I knew he and his foundation were the ones for me. So hopefully my husband will let me keep my fictional boyfriend, and God will continue to bless me with wonderful customers. Every time you treat yourself to one of our bags, a little slice of that sweet, sweet cha-ching goes to the Gary Sinise Foundation and helps in our quest to honor and support our Veterans.
